The main aim of the OIC Poland Foundation is prevention of unemployment and fostering economic development by implementation of the educational and counselling programmes, targeted at inhabitants of the region. It has been attained through two basic streams:

DIMOTIKO SCHOLEIO AGIAS NAPAS ANTONI TSOKKOU
Dimotiko Scholeio Agias Napas –Antoni Tsokkou is a public school that offers education to children aged 6 to 12, according to the National Curriculum and the regulations of the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth. The school has 330 students today, which makes it the largest public primary school in the educational district of Famagusta, based on student population. Students from 28 different nationalities, nations and religions, 25 different spoken languages, and different needs (children of immigrants and refugees, children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities –SEND/Special Unit in school, children with learning difficulties and/or intellectual disabilities) give a beautifully diverse nature to the school community. Currently, the school has 29 teachers: the headteacher, three deputy headteachers, 16 teachers, two Physical Education (PE) teachers, a Music teacher, a Design and Technology teacher, a teacher of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), a teacher who teaches Greek as a Second Language (GSL) and three SEND teachers. An enthusiastic team of teachers who all care for, and protect all of our students equally. We want them all to feel happy and safe at school, and, learn.
Our school’s participation in various projects boosts everyone’s creativity, innovative and entrepreneurial thinking, teaching and learning skills and competences, and eventually helps in fulfilling our mission and goals for inclusion and preparedness in all aspects of school life.

information as tools to stimulate educational processes which can help improve modern man’s conditions and the society in which he lives.
Since it was first set up in the year 2000, the Foundation has trained over 2,800 operators in the fields of education and social work, both at home and abroad, and has carried out more than 90,000 hours of research in collaboration with Sapienza – Università di Roma, l’Università degli Studi di Padova and Bar Ilan University.

Our school „Elena Doamna” the first in our town Tecuci, was founded on January 1, 1854. Between 1854 – 1948 it worked under the name „School no.1 of Girls”, whose spiritual patron was Mrs. Helen, the wife of the first ruler of the United Romanian countries, Al. I Cuza. Since 1948 the school became a mixed one, boys and girls altogether. Since 1962 the school operated under the name Secondary “Elena Doamna” . The School Day is celebrated every year on May, 21. Our school aims to prepare students for real life, so to have as many chances to find the right place and way accordind to their wishes, aspirations and interests. We have more than 500 studens from primary to low secondary school and 35 teachers.
We participate in several competition and the results of our students at olympiads and competitions are really high : we gain medals an prizes and this motivate students to do always their best. In our school is a tradition to work in etwinning projects, more than 300 students are involved in this kind of project, we are awarned with National Qualities Label, European Qualities Label . Every year we win 5/6 National Qualities Labels and 3/4 European Qualities Label We have in our school two teachers who is an Etwinning Ambasadors and she win a European Prize, 3 years ago and another one National prize in 2017 and become eTwinning School in april 2018 for 2 years. We have in our school an Scientix Ambassor also that coordinate workshops in STEM, disemination of activities, resources . All teachers are hard workers, like their profesion and love children. Not only international project are developed in our school , many others National, Regional or Local project make from our school a great one with great teachers and ready to work.
