The 5th Transnational Project Meeting of our partners took place in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, from 31st of March to 1st of April. Our partners from Poland, Greece, Romania, Cyprus and Italy met in a hybrid meeting hosted by the Primary School of Ayia Napa.
The primary school of Ayia Napa warmly welcomed the other partners of the project and presented the school and the Cypriot culture.
Intercultural awareness
One of the most important advantages of this meeting was the exchange of cultural ideas.
During this two-day meeting, the partners had the opportunity to get to know the way a school in Cyprus runs.
The fact that many of the members of the consortium are directly or indirectly involved in the education sector in their country, led to a discussion about the different cultural characteristics that frame the educational process in the partner countries.
Meeting’s aims
During the meeting all the necessary actions to be taken until the completion of the project were discussed. More specifically, the partners from each country presented the progress of their work in the following outputs and results:
- Completion of the e-tool for diagnosis of cognitive processes and learning styles of younger children (from 6 to 10 years old),
- Progress of the pilot survey for the e-tool for diagnosis of cognitive processes and learning styles of older children (from 11 to 14 years old),
- Progress of the pilot survey on the Training toolkit for teachers and educators,
- Final steps on the completion of the pilot study on Educational Toolkit for Students.
Multiplier event
In addition to the outputs and results, the partners set the common lines on the Multiplier Events they will hold during summer, in order to promote the project to the target groups.
The events to be held in all partner countries were agreed to take place upon completion of all four results, so can the participants gain a holistic view of the project and its benefits.
Next Transnational Meeting
At the end of their meeting, they decided to meet for one last time before the completion of the project in Patras in the summer to coordinate the final changes that will be needed to deliver a complete and quality result.
